Mode De La Fvnk is a dynamic DJ/producer duo from Curaçao, composed of brothers Mavdio (also known as DJ Moska) and Richie La Fvnk. Their musical journey began in their youth, performing in their parents' gospel group, where they developed skills in instruments like drums, bass guitar, and piano. Their passion for DJing emerged early, experimenting with mixing using two radio-cassette players. After relocating to the Netherlands for their studies, the brothers formed Mode De La Fvnk in 2006. They’re connected years later with Shermanology, Mavdio (co)produced several tracks for Shermanology’s label Deaup Records. Their music blends house, Latin, and urban genres, reflecting their Caribbean heritage and European influences. Notable tracks include "Fast Life," which marked their return to the dance scene and was filmed during Curaçao's Fuikdag festival, and "Carnaval Time," featuring vocals by Geraldo, released as a free download in 2013. They’ve also collaborated with artists like J-Me, David Goncalves and Afrobros.
